Our Story
Learn about the history, mission, and impact of the NC Vegetable Growers Association.
The North Carolina Vegetable Growers Association (NCVGA) is a nonprofit multi-commodity trade organization founded in 1977. We serve as the unified voice of NC's vegetable industry — representing over 2,000 commercial vegetable growers cultivating 22 different crops across 250,000 acres statewide.
Our members include the state's finest vegetable producers — both large and small — along with brokers, packers, shippers, and allied trade organizations. Together, we work to ensure that North Carolina remains one of the top vegetable-producing states in the nation.
Our Mission
"The improvement and promotion of the North Carolina vegetable industry."
